Apna Des, a mobile phone-based content site powered by Reliance Communications (India's largest integrated telecom service provider), is part of TELUS' line-up of promo entertainment, information and messaging services. It is the first and only mobile site of its kind in North America, providing the largest catalogue of content directly from South Asia.
Getting started
Text "APNA" to 5588 for instant access to the colours of Apna Des or:
- Access APNA DES links from the Wireless Web menu under "Hot offers and Updates" and also under "Get more ringtones and images"
- Access the Wireless Web menu from your phone
- Select "ultra" from the top navigation bar (located between "home" and "shop")
- Select "ULTRA World" (option 5)
- Select "Apna Des South Asia", then click through the various categories
To return to the main menu, simply click on "Apna Des" from the top or bottom toolbars.
